Daring riders hung on to rampaging cattle as they took on a bizarre, dangerous extreme sport by racing across muddy paddy fields in a terrifying annual tradition. Mud cow racing, known locally as 'pacu jawi', is a traditional sport that dates back hundreds of years and is believed to have been invented as a way for farmers to pass the time between paddy seasons.
