A huge cuckoo chick makes itself at home in the tiny nest of much smaller reed warbler birds after fooling the new parents into thinking it is their own brood of chicks.

Cuckoos are notorious for laying their eggs in the nests of other birds, with the cuckoo chick then forcing out the genuine young of the parents.
