A tiny harvest mouse feasts on pollen after nestling itself inside tulip buds. The cute mouse - around the size of a two pence piece - climbed up the stems of the colourful flowers and jumped inside the petals.

It quickly obtained the pollen before moving on to more tulips, while being photographed by accountant Val Saxby as it did so. Ms Saxby, 56, took these photos at Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre near Ringwood, Hants, and said the mouse was 'endearing'.
