A large snail provides a helpful 'moving bridge' for a tiny mantis. The young mantis, which is about the size of a needle, jumped onto the snail which is around five times the size of the green insect.

The snail, which was moving from one humid place to the next continued on his journey - was unfazed by the manits hitching a ride on his shell. Photographer Nordin Seruyan, of central Borneo, Indonesia, spotted the unusual pair near his home.
