A life jacket worn by one of the survivors of the Titanic sinking has been returned to the city it set sail from after almost 105 years. The passenger liner, which was the largest ship afloat at the time, sank after hitting an iceberg in the early hours of April 15, 1912, killing 1,500 passengers.

Now the life jacket has been put on display at SeaCity Museum in Southampton, Hants - where the ship began its tragic maiden voyage.
