SN_WATERFALLS_1.jpg
These epic waterfalls (pictured) look like they could be settings from Lord of the Rings - but they are actually real landscapes photographed across Iceland.

In one image a monstrous waterfall tumbles from a staggering height of 60 metres, with the combination of sunlight and spray creating a vivid rainbow.

Two tiny people in the corner of the picture give an idea of the magnificent size of the fantastical Skogafoss waterfall, which is located in the south of Iceland.

Another magical-looking waterfall appears endless as it seems to tumble down rocks into the middle of the earth.

The Dettifoss fall, which flows from a glacier in the north-east of the country, is thought to be the most powerful waterfall in the whole of Europe. SEE OUR COPY FOR MORE DETAILS.
