A team of 35 have been working to harvest, net and deliver 65,000 Christmas trees in time for this weekend - the peak time for tree sales in the UK.

Around 850,000 Nordmann Fir Trees and traditional Norway Spruces stand in 300 acres of land at Burcot Farm, near Winchester, Hants. The business harvest 65,000 and plant 85,000 new trees each year.

The team - hired especially for the Christmas period - have been working to chop down the trees, which measure from around 5ft (1.5m) to 7ft (2.1m), bundle and net them and deliver them to retailers across the UK.

The trees are delivered to towns and cities all over the country. SEE OUR COPY FOR MORE DETAILS.
