Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people from some of the country's with the most oppressive homosexuality laws will lead this year's Pride Parade. More than 200 flagbearers with representatives from countries including Russia, Nigeria, Uganda, Ghana and Egypt will march at the front of the procession tomorrow (Saturday, June 27).
The aim is to send a message of solidarity and support to those who still face oppression and lack of freedom in countries around the world. The theme for this year's Pride Parade is 'Pride heroes' - which celebrates significant individuals who have contributed to LGBT+ rights over the years. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
