Two cheeky monkeys clamber over a small tap, thirsty for a refreshing drink of water in the heat of the morning sun. In almost human-like behaviour, one nimbly turns the handle so the other can enjoy the rush of cool water that is released.
The clever duo then take it in turns to fix a small greedy mouth to the spurt of the pipe - eagerly lapping up the refreshing liquid. The unusual behaviour of these Langur monkeys was spotted by project officer Alec Connah, who was on holiday with his partner Kath in Sri Lanka. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
