You could be forgiven for thinking these images were painted works of art - but they are in fact photographs of glaciers. A photographer was inspired by classic oil paintings when he snapped the glacier photos on the Rakaposhi Haramosh mountain range, in northern Pakistan.
Glaciers are created by compressed fallen snow that, over many years, form into large ice masses. The photos were taken in Gilgit–Baltistan, in Pakistan, during a sightseeing trip. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
