You could be forgiven for thinking these images were painted works of art - but they are in fact photographs of glaciers.  A photographer was inspired by classic oil paintings when he snapped the glacier photos on the Rakaposhi Haramosh mountain range, in northern Pakistan.<br />

Glaciers are created by compressed fallen snow that, over many years, form into large ice masses.   The photos were taken in Gilgit–Baltistan, in Pakistan, during a sightseeing trip.  SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.<br />
