SN_SURFER_SNOW_1.jpg
This thrillseeker looks like he is snowboarding down a snowy mountain - but in fact he is actually catching an enormous wave in the ocean. The choppy conditions in Nazare, Portugal, were perfect for professional surfers who wanted to experience the thrill of catching huge waves.

After the wave had broken, a bright white blanket was created in the water - making it look like a ski slope. Keen surfer Nitzan Benhaim, 38, was pictured riding the massive 30 metre wave.

And the stance adopted by Mr Benhaim who is from Haifa, Israel, is similar to that of a snowboarder cruising down a ski run. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
