A girl of 12 who shaved her head to raise 1,000 pounds for a cancer charity has been banned from class for breaking school rules on hair styles. Charlotte Duggan had her long brown locks cut and clipped to a just a few millimetres for Breast Cancer Campaign.
She was inspired by her grandmother who successfully fought breast cancer nine years ago. But teachers at Cranbourne Business and Enterprise College in Basingstoke, Hants, were less charitable than the year eight pupil. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
