Hey, how come he gets a lift? Nine newborn cygnets take to the water to learn to swim with their parents - but one little swan wings it and bags himself a ride on his mum's back. The brood of nine cygnets on the River Wey in Guildford, Surrey, are just days old and must learn to swim, so their mum and dad bring them onto the water.
One of the adorable little cygnets decides he doesn't want to get wet and instead gets a free ride off his mum - which ruffled a few feathers for the others. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
