These energetic young baboons show off their their impressive gymnastic skills as they leap across rocks in a river.  The primates, who were part of a larger troop, jumped up to four metres in the air to avoid the water - and the crocodiles that lurked there.<br />

Photographer Richard Du Toit said some of the younger baboons, one of which is pictured, were clearly anxious of falling into the water.  The photos were taken in Olifants River, in Kruger Park, South Africa.  SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.<br />
