Mud, mud, glorious mud. This young rhino looks at peace as she takes a dip in a mud bath. Rosa, a young female Sumatran rhino, rolled around in the mud to cool off after a long day in the sun and protect her skin from nearby bugs.
Despite the murky colour of the bath, which is a natural water hole, rhinos like Rosa love it and it's good for their health. The 300kg animal was at her home in the Way Kambas National Park, Indonesia, when wildlife photographer Cyril Ruoso captured her making herself comfortable in the mud pot. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
