A crocodile's sunbathing was disturbed as a grasshopper hopped onto its back for a ride. The brown insect - believed to be a carolina locust - wandered towards the crocodile and quickly leapt onto its back as the fed-up reptile walked away.
The unlikely pair were spotted by student Frenki Jung. The 17-year-old, from Sambas, West Kalimantan, Indonesia, where these photos were taken, said: "The crocodile was sunbathing peacefully when the grasshopper started walking close by. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
