Rows of workers shelter under umbrellas from the blistering heat as they painstakingly sort through a sea of bright red chili peppers on a farm in Bogra, Bangladesh.

The striking images were taken by university student Rafid Yasar, 25.

Rafid said, "The daytime temperature are currently mid-thirty degrees Celcius. The workers are sorting through the chillis to separate the poor quality ones which won't sell."

"They earn less than £2 a day for a full nine hours in the boiling heat."
