HEY-MAN! This caiman smiles for the camera while chilling out on a rock. The massive reptile was snapped by Simon Roberts in the Brazilian Pantanal Wetlands.
The 62 year old retired surgeon said, “I took these photos from a boat in the river. The caiman opens its mouth wide open to release heat, just like a dog panting. It was 42 degrees Celsius so it was just too hot for it. Despite this, it looks like it’s smiling!”
