Father Christmas won't be the only one with that surname working on December 25 - as a Dr Christmas will be on duty at an NHS hospital. Dr Emma Christmas, a consultant in emergency medicine, will be spending Christmas Day treating sick and injured patients.

Father Christmas won't be the only one with that surname working on December 25 - as a Dr Christmas will be on duty at an NHS hospital. Dr Emma Christmas, a consultant in emergency medicine, will be spending Christmas Day treating sick and injured patients.

The 36 year old consultant even says she's looking forward to the eight hour shift at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital because she people will be 'in good spirits'.
