Pictured: A magnificent rainbow stretches across the sky as it appears to emerge from a quaint chapel in the Austrian hills.

The natural phenomenon was captured by mechanical engineer Emanuele Battisti as he was travelling through the countryside with his wife.

The vivid colours of a single rainbow illuminate the overcast sky as the Chapel Krebsbach can be found sitting at the end of the rainbow in Barwies, Austria - only for another to appear moments later.
The 43 year-old said “I was travelling with my wife when i saw this magnificent opportunity passing us. I told my wife to get in the drivers seat so we could park and I could take some photographs”

Originally from Italy, Mr Battisti said "These kinds of situations do not come along very often in the lifetime of a photographer: there is no way you can plan this type of photo and I usually don’t have much luck!”

"I was super excited because I was so lucky to be at the right time in the right place, with a magical light at the sunset."
