An award-winning architect has unveiled spectacular plans for a 'refugee camp for insects' to be built in 2050 if humanity fails to protect nature. Vincent Callebaut revealed the futuristic project called Pollinator Park in collaboration with The European Commission to raise awareness as a 'powerful wake-up call to humanity'.<br />

The world renowned 'Archibiotect's' project includes areas called 'Miro's Meadow', the 'Hungry Hive', the 'Urban Lab' and the 'Zoom Room' - all of which offer an 'oasis of sustainable food production with pollinators as the main source'. The Belgian's 'virtual universe set in the future' was inspired by pollination and the sexual reproduction method of plants with 'Central Park' symbolising female organs.
