The annual event, usually held in May sees 20 heritage buses from as early as the 1950s providing free services through the city of Winchester and surrounding villages.
The Friends of King Alfred Buses have taken the decision to cancel this years event, citing the effects of the coronavirus pandemic and the uncertainty around what kind of public events are permissible in the next few months.
The vintage buses are still expected to play a part at Winchester Heritage Open Days in September of this year.
