A blank canvas..... Workers in brightly coloured conical hats start to paint, by hand, some white bamboo umbrellas.<br />

Gatot Herliyanto, 58, from Bekasi, Indonesia visited Bogor, West Java, to photograph the umbrella workers. Gatot said, "The workers are quality checking the hand made umbrellas and then colouring them in in vibrant colours. Here it is a mass production processes, involving many workers each with a different task to do within the production line, such as umbrella frame making, creating handles, colouring them in etc."<br />

"It doesn't actually take them that long to colour the umbrellas in."<br />
