Honey buzzards are swarmed by bees, as they eye up their next meal.

Despite their name, it's not honey on the menu - instead the birds eat the bees themselves, as well as wasps, grubs and other invertebrates.

These striking pictures were captured by hobby photographer Leo Liu in Chiayi County, Taiwan.
