Aerial photos show a waterfall cascading into a canyon lined with colourful minerals. The cliffs of the 128 metre-deep canyon are formed of basaltic strata, red clay and the fossilised trunks of coniferous trees.

Photographer Hugo Healy took the pictures while visiting the Hengifoss waterfall in eastern Iceland.
