Farmers lay out freshly chopped leaves which once dried will be used as pipe tobacco. The farmers are pictured in the village of Thuy An, which is located in Thai Binh, Vietnam.

After drying in the sun for around 5 to 6 days, in the same field that the plants are grown, the dried Lao leaves will be collected to be brought to market for sale by the farmers or sold on to traders.
