Fisherman in Vietnam use a centuries-old technique of lowering huge nets suspended by bamboo at sunrise to catch shrimp. Photos capture the idyllic scene as the river glows yellow, lit up by the early morning rays.

The 10-metre square nets are lowered into the water before sunrise and a light is placed in the centre to attract the shrimp. These early morning photos were taken on the Thu Bon River in the Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, by amateur photographer Huy Le Nguyen.
