Kazakh eagle hunters put their golden eagles through their paces as they hunt animals for their fur. Professional landscape and travel photographer Kah-Wai, 39, of New Jersey, USA was visiting the Altantsugts district, Bayan-Ulgii province in Western Mongolia.

He said, "The hunts are primarily for fur, not for meat. This fur is an integral part of traditional Kazakh clothing as temperatures in the winter will range between minus 20 to minus 45 degrees celsius."
