Song fish are placed out to naturally dry in the sun in Bogor, near Jakarta, Indonesia. The process was captured by holiday resort owner Sally Widjaja. She said "The fish are selected then gathered into a container and submerged in a concentrated salt solution. They are left to soak for between 10-24 hours, dependent on size." "Once they are soaked in salt solution, the fish are left out to dry in the sunlight for 1-3 days."
