Twin brothers have managed to grow a pumpkin weighing in at more than 900 kilograms (142 stone) - heavier than a Smart Car. Boasting a circumference of 18ft and with a stem which is 2ft thick it took around 100 days to grow from the size of a golf ball, at a rate of about 20lbs a day.
