Thousands of noodles drying in the sun create a veil resembling strands of white lace.

The 300 year old tradition involves the noodle strings being stretched to 10 times their original size.

The photos were taken in southern China in Zhejiang province in Nanshan Village.

Professional photographer George Doupas, 53, from Beijing, China, said these noodles are called “shuo mian”.
