An array of brightly coloured fabric is left out in the sun to dry. The freshly dyed cloth was laid out to dry for five to six hours, covering an entire kilometre.

More than 500 people work to produce the hand-made garments, in a village where nearly 90 per cent of the population are dependant on the industry. These photos were taken by amateur photographer Ratul Dhar in the village of Banti, Bangladesh.
