Pictured: The aerial views showing the mass of flamingos resting in Lake Bogoria in the Rift Valley, Kenya. Some can be seen flighing in the top right corner of this image.
The water in this lake appears to have turned pink - but in fact it is a sea of over a million flamingos. The huge number of pink birds gather in the shallow saline lake to feed from the nutrients it has to offer.

Flamingos stretch as far as the eye can see as more than a million of the bright birds flood it with a sea of pink. These rare photos were taken as the flamingos fed from Lake Bogoria, a lake in a volcanic region in Rift Valley, Kenya. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
