A bride-to-be made an incredibly rare find after she opened a 99p oyster and discovered two pearls - beating odds of 2,000,000/1.
Caroline Costello, 33, celebrated moving into her new home with her fiance Mark Jupp, 37, by tucking into fresh oysters and sipping champagne.
But the nursery deputy manager felt a 'crunch' when she ate one of eight saltwater clams her partner bought for 99p each.
She immediately spat it out onto her plate - thinking it was a bit of shell - but was 'amazed' to discover it was a rare white pearl.
