Pictured: Looking like views of Mars, this is actually Death Valley National Park in California, USA.

These spectacular photographs of a barren crater-filled landscape look like they were taken above Mars. Captured from a plane at a height of about 3,000 feet, the images show a dry, dusty brownish-orange terrain.

The rocky land is dotted with huge craters - one of which measures 600 feet deep and a half a mile across. In some images, the tiny specks of people are visible, which look like ants in the face of the dominating scenery.

While the pictures seem like they were taken of another planet, they actually show the Death Valley National Park in California, USA. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
