Music fans heading to Glastonbury may want to think twice about keeping their festival wristbands on afterwards - as a scientist has revealed the shocking amount of bacteria on them. The summer festival bands are often worn for months by fans as a fashion item - but laboratory tests have found that when they are left on they gather a staggering 20 times more bacteria than clothes do.
