Tourists ski on artificial snow on the bare slopes of the Swiss alps at a world famous resort. The Gstaad Ski Resort, in between the villages of Gstaad and Saanen, in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland, is a famous destination for skiers and snowboarders.

The mild winter has left the region mostly snowless, with snow-making machines and cannons having to blast the artificial snow over the ground. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
