Gardener Chris Budd tends to the spectacular arrangement of flowers in the Knot Garden, sat amongst the grounds once used as a formal garden for Tudor royalty at Basing House in Basingstoke, Hampshire, with the Paulet family motto shaped into the topiary trees which translates to 'Love Loyalty'.

Operated by Hampshire Cultural Trust, the gardens at Basing House were left unattended during lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus, as such the volunteer gardeners have yet to complete all the work outstanding since returning to work in July.
