A dog mysteriously ended up with a sewing needle lodged in its liver - leaving vets and its owners baffled about how it got there. Emma Wilding, 48, and her husband Gareth, 48, took their Labradoodle Buddy to the vets after he began to show signs he was in pain.
After the vets took an X-ray of the three-year-old dog they found a sewing needle around four centimetres long was inside his liver. Mother-of-two Mrs Wilding, from Maidenhead, Berks, added: said: "When the vet told me that they had found a needle in his liver I thought he was going to die – it was terrible.
