Pictured: Fishermen create an eye-catching scene from above as they throw large fishing nets into the Jamuna River in Jamalpur, Bangladesh. The moments were captured by travel photographer Mahat Hasan.
The 21 year old from Mymensingh, Bangladesh said: “The fishermen can catch up to two kilograms of fish using these large nets. They cast the net and after waiting for an hour pull them up to see what they have caught.”
"In some of the pictures you can see a boy swimming. He does this to try to attract the fish into the net."
“The fishermen keep some of the fish they catch for their families, and sell the rest at a local market. This is what they do day-to-day to earn their living.”
