SN_WORM_ATTACKS_FISH_5.jpg
Pictured: 5 of 17: The Bobbit worm springing out at unsuspecting prey.

This feisty worm shows off its stealth nature and predatory instinct as it takes down a puffer fish after sneaking up on it by emerging from the sea bed. The 5cm wide bobbit worm waited patiently for the fish to cross its path and then it shot up - reaching heights of 20cm - to grab it with its sharp jaws.

It quickly lunged towards the fish in the blink of an eye and caught the fish by its tail near the pier at Anilao, Philippines. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
