Pictured: One of the frogs having pulled itself back up onto the stem.
It's no pain no gain for these fitness frogs as they attempt to do a pull up on a bamboo branch. The two White's Tree Frogs were spotted attempting to heave themselves back onto the stem after they slipped off.
The male and female frogs were racing each other up the branch like climbers hoisting themselves up a rope, with the larger, older female frog winning the contest. But as the frogs reached the top of the branch, it began to bend under their weight until it was horizontal, leaving them both hanging on by their finger tips.
Kurit Afsheen photographed the amphibians as they clung onto the branch in Tangerang, a city in Indonesia. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
