Two of the county's most recognisable landmarks have been lit up in rainbow colours to celebrate this year's Pride festivities. The Wembley Arch and the Coca-Cola London Eye will become massive beacons of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT+) pride this weekend.
The 436ft tall and 1,033ft long arch over the stadium and the 443ft tall wheel will shine out in rainbow colours as the annual Pride Parade takes place in central London on Saturday, June 27. This year’s Pride in London celebration is set to break records as more than 250 community groups, businesses, charities and organisations have signed up to take part in the parade.
