A waste collector was stunned when he went to pick up a skip from a customer - and found they had dumped an entire caravan on top of it.

Tyrone Covell, 43, admitted he "couldn't stop laughing" when he saw the cheeky customer had managed to lift the old caravan onto the skip.

Unable to collect it, Mr Covell told the customer it had to be broken up into parts that fit in the skip.

He phoned the office of the waste management firm he works for, GD Environmental Services Ltd, to tell bosses about the hilarious incident but "couldn't speak because he was laughing too hard."

The customer who asked to rent the skip from the firm in Newport, Wales, had even asked for a list of banned items when he hired the skip.

GD Environmental provided the customer from Newport with a list but did not include a caravan, as it was "blatantly obvious you can't put a caravan in a skip." SEE OUR COPY FOR MORE DETAILS.
