A little canary dries itself with a good shake after its afternoon shower. The male bird took only a matter of seconds to dry itself after being given a cooling five minute bath. The yellow bird is perched around two meters up on a frangipani flower tree - a flowering plant which produces sweetly scented flowers.
Its shower came in the form of a flower sprayer - normally used to water the plants - which was set up especially for the bird by its owner. Student Roni Hendrawan, 22, took these photos in Yogykarta city, Indonesia, where he lives. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
